Cedar County Arrests in the Last 24 Hours
No county page covers arrests from the past 24 or 48 hours. The Cedar County Sheriff's Office points people instead toward
which leads to the Cedar County JailTracker roster. That tool tracks current custody. It is not a chronological arrest feed. Searching it by name works well, but treat any result as a jail list rather than today's bookings. A listing can reflect an arrest from days ago, and a same-day arrest can vanish after release on bond, a summons, or transfer. The detention center also boards people for other counties, so a name there does not guarantee a Cedar County arrest.
The official Sheriff page shown here is the county-run starting point, holding the roster link and the office's contact details.

The image identifies the official county route before any search moves out to the outside JailTracker domain.
How to Check Cedar County Arrests Today
- Open the official Sheriff page and select “Who is Currently in Jail.”
- Search JailTracker by first and last name if it renders, then match more than a name.
- Record only displayed facts, including booking number, dates, agency, charge, bond, hold, court reference, or release status.
- If it fails, call 417-276-5133 extension 251 and ask about current custody or records routing.
- For a report or image, send a dated Missouri Sunshine request to the records custodian at 202 South High Street, Stockton, MO 65785.
Note the time of each check, since the roster shifts with admissions, releases, and transfers. The county arrest-record hub covers court and records-request routes.
What Cedar County’s Current Roster May Show
The JailTracker client uses configurable fields. Those listed here may appear, though none is guaranteed.
| Possible field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name and booking number | Identity and the strongest request reference. |
| Arrest, offense, or booking date | Different events that should not be conflated. |
| Charge and case identifiers | Intake charges and possible court cross-references. |
| Bond and holds | Release conditions or another agency’s interest, not guilt. |
| Court or release data | Scheduling and custody changes when enabled. |
| Photograph | Image settings exist, but universal public display is not established. |
Cedar County publishes no online booking-photo gallery. For a legitimate records purpose, contact the Sheriff or the arresting department to request an image.
Why Cedar County JailTracker May Be Unavailable
The Sheriff link opens a Public Safety Cloud application. It can load a shell and then throw an unhandled error. An error screen is not an empty jail. It does not prove nobody was arrested in Cedar County that day. No matching roster image is shown here, so nothing irrelevant gets borrowed. Retry the official route, then call the office or request the record directly. Cedar County posts no refresh interval or posting hour. There is no weekend rule either. The county gives no booking-to-display lag or fixed roll-off period.
When a Cedar County Arrest Is Missing
A missing name has many causes. Processing may still be underway, or the spelling may differ. The person may have been released, transferred, or flagged under a protected entry, or the service may be down. For current custody, contact the Sheriff. For transfer and release alerts, VINELink Custody Check works where Missouri MOVANS participation applies. For a final case outcome, turn to the Cedar County Circuit Clerk and Case.net. Someone sentenced into state custody appears in the Missouri Department of Corrections Offender Search, not on a fresh-booking roster.
The Cedar County Circuit Clerk page captured here connects the arrest to the public court record.

The clerk image shows where court and notification links sit once a booking moves past the current jail list.
Sheriff files can outlive web visibility. Missouri's schedule gives arrest records and booking sheets a five-year minimum. That does not obligate five years of public JailTracker history. The Police Blotter page explains weekly reports and archive paths rather than same-day custody.
Request a Cedar County Arrest Record
Give the custodian the full name. Include an approximate date and time. Then add the arresting agency and any booking or case number. Ask whether the report and photograph exist. Ask whether each is open and which office holds them. Request a fee estimate too. The Sheriff publishes no dedicated booking-photo form or separate records email. Missouri law generally requires a response by the close of the third business day. That response may deliver records, explain a delay, or cite a denial. Juvenile, sealed, closed, and investigative material can be restricted. An arrest report may close after 30 days when no charge is filed. Statutory exceptions apply.
Same-Day Cedar Custody States
can hide several outcomes. One person is arrested, processed, and held at the Cedar County Detention Center. Another gets a summons. That person leaves without a stay long enough to overlap a roster check. A third is transferred because another county or agency holds the controlling detainer. The current-custody screen describes only certain people. It lists those the application shows at the moment of the check. It cannot rebuild every event since the same hour yesterday.
| Same-day situation | Best confirmation route |
|---|---|
| Still held at Cedar County | JailTracker, followed by the Sheriff when the screen fails |
| Released on bond or summons | Arresting-agency report and later court filing |
| Moved on another agency hold | Sheriff confirmation, then the receiving agency |
| Booked for another county | Verify the arresting agency and case jurisdiction |
| Sentenced to state custody | MDOC search after the state record is entered |
This distinction heads off two errors. Absence from the list does not mean no booking happened. Presence in the Cedar facility does not prove Cedar County officers made the arrest. Record the agency, booking date, and case identifier. Write them down whenever those fields appear.
Cedar Booking Photos Today
Cedar County does not promise a booking photo for every arrest. No set moment in the booking process guarantees that an image goes public either. The JailTracker system does include image fields. It also lets staff hide an inmate photo unless a viewer is logged on. In other words, display is a settings question, not a fixed rule. The public results page may not render at times. A blank result tells you little on its own.
A Cedar County arrest entry may show a photo. Read it as part of the booking record. Confirm the identity through the text fields rather than facial resemblance. If no image appears, ask the Sheriff's records custodian. The custodian can tell you whether one exists. The office can also say which agency holds it, and whether Missouri law makes it open. A missing photo can stem from configuration, delay, redaction, or booking at another facility. This page never republishes booking portraits.
Cedar Intake and Posting Lag
Before a new Cedar County detainee shows a stable record, several steps must finish. Several steps come first: identity checks, property intake, charge entry, medical screening, bond review, and agency-hold checks. The Sheriff publishes no promised sequence. There is no completion time or fixed update minute either. A failed search right after an incident means try again later. It also means confirm directly rather than assume anything.
Weekends and holidays need the same patience. No official Cedar rule puts JailTracker on a special weekend schedule. Court entries can also trail the jail record. A case may be filed after intake. Note the time and source of each check you make. For a report rather than immediate custody, a written request builds a cleaner trail. It also lets the custodian explain any delay, hold, or closure.
Arrested Today Does Not Mean Guilty
A booking charge describes intake status, not an outcome. Use the court record to verify what happened. Roster entries alone are not judgments.
Arrested Today Does Not Mean Guilty
Treat booking data as a starting point for verifying a record. A booking photo is not a court result, so never use one to shame a person.
